Reporting directly to the MD, this newly created position has been developed for a forward-thinking, go-getter. This is a business-critical role as you will be responsible for identifying, building and streamlining operational efficiencies to ensure that the “engine” room is rigidly built to accommodate the businesses’ ongoing growth.

Adaptability, strategically focused and a proactivity mindset are pivotal to the success of this role.

Responsibilities include:

Operations management – manage, monitor and ensure that workload is of a high standard and being delivered in time to clients

Process and Project Management - ongoing refinement and improvement of business processes. Manage projects to ensure the team and business are working effectively and productively

Leadership – manage paraplanners and administration team members. Train, mentor, upskill and ensure that your team is delivering at a high level.

Advice delivery – overseeing the accuracy of advice documents (including SOA’s and ROA’s) ensuring that they are of high quality and are compliant with legislation. Manage and monitor workflow, perform quality and compliance reviews of advice documents.

This role will suit someone who has had previous experience building and identifying operational efficiencies. Your technical ability is also necessary, as you will need to understand the complete advice process.

You will also display the following attributes:

Up to 5 years paraplanning skills
DFP qualifications
Demonstrated people management experience
Proficiency across MS Office
A self starter, self-managed, proactive and driven

You may be a senior paraplanner who has managed and mentored junior team members and are looking for a step up. You may also be a practice or operations manager seeking an opportunity to utilise your practice and people management experience. What is mandatory is your understanding of the advice process.
