Experienced Paraplanner – join the SF Dream Team

Sufficient Funds

- kick off 2022 with the role you’ve been waiting for
- build life-changing advice for a rapidly growing millennial client base
- join a highly motivated, fun, young team who've been 100% virtual since way before covid made it cool
We're looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join our superstar team.

We have nailed something that is hard to find in advice: a holistic service offering that creates an insane amount of value for young clients.

Despite popular belief, millennials have money and they are willing to spend it on services that add value to their lives.

Four years ago we created a business model that does a lot more than just spit out SOA’s and provide reviews each year. With our ground-breaking, and paid, first meeting, the “Defining Sufficient Session”, we dive deep into our clients lives to help them truly understand what matters to them before creating a money plan that brings it all together and lights their financial worlds on fire.

We’ve had 100% + year on year growth since day 1 and our SF dream team has swelled from 2 to 13 including 3x advisers and 2x mortgage brokers.

We have strong paraplanning experience in the team but there has never been a specific paraplanner role, instead choosing to outsource the document creation to external providers. We’ve now decided to bring this in-house and create an exciting opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner ready to get stuck in.

The role
- full-time employed, remote and highly flexible - we do not clock-watch at SF
- preparation of a high volume of advice documents mainly for clients under 40yo
- work in a collaborative and consultative manner with advisers and the team to develop strategies that are not only in the best interest of our clients, but that consistently blow their minds
- detailed short- to medium-term modelling and projections factoring in a range of life changes e.g. upgrading homes, starting families, private school plans, stints of unpaid work etc
- continually gain a greater understanding of licensee changes and requirements, products and strategies enabling the delivery of life-changing advice
- highly competitive remuneration package

At Sufficient Funds, you might already know that we are cruisy, t-shirt-wearing and sun-loving, but there’s more to it than that; we practice what we preach and are truly living our Sufficient lives: working and earning in roles we love and that keep us interested, in turn building our own stories of financial success and enjoying the complete freedom that remote work allows us.

Each individual in the SF team has strong emotional intelligence, a desire to see others grow and succeed, and a deep care for the quality of their work, our team and critically, the lives of our clients. The above qualities make us a formidable force and we are incredibly proud of the amazing work we do.

We and our clients have enjoyed immense success over the past few years and will continue to do so through rapid organic growth and continued strong partnerships with like-minded referral sources. As a result we continue to broaden our team via very careful selection of the industry's best fits.

- team first! Our team is family, you are energised by joining an inclusive, collaborative environment
- 3+ years’ experience as a Paraplanner and strong technical ability
- extreme proficiency in X-Plan and experience creating holistic SOA's
- hold a Diploma of Financial Planning or relevant tertiary qualifications
- be a self-starter who thrives when given complete autonomy
- outstanding interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability in time management and delivering high service standards
- process and system driven. You constantly seek ways to improve, and are able to adapt to the use of new technology
