Mastering Your Social Media
Thank you
Adele Martin – Money Mentor
for walking us through how you structure your social media strategy and giving us some real-life demonstrations of how you’re actually executing on the strategy. Here were the top three nuggets we took from today’s session:
- Give your social media strategy a clear framework and structure. This will help prevent overwhelm if you haven’t really gotten stuck into your social media marketing, chasing your tail trying to think of interesting things to post on the fly and will help better understand your ROI, instead of adopting a ‘spray and pray’ methodology.
- Re-purpose your content. If you create a podcast, pull out quotes and mini audio grabs you can design and post on your other social channels. If you record a video, pull out some thought provoking questions from it that you can post on your Facebook or Instagram account as posts or images. Don’t blast the same post on every channel, tweak your content to suit the social medium.
- Use social media to build ‘know, like and trust’ with your ideal demographic and stay relevant, don’t become the Blockbuster video of Financial Planning.
